Shiv Gaglani is the co-founder & CEO of the popular health education platform, Osmosis.org, which has helped millions of current and future clinicians and caregivers around the world (www.osmosis.org/world). He’s forged partnerships with rare disease groups such as the National Organization for Rare Disorders, the GLUT1 Deficiency Foundation, the Hyper IgM Foundation, the National MALS Foundation, and the Alpha 1 Foundation among others. Shiv and his team launched “The Year of the Zebra” to celebrate the 40th Anniversary of the Orphan Drug Act with the purpose of educating millions more people to be able to spot zebras earlier and inspire them to pursue careers focused on and therapies for these conditions. Shiv is a medical student at Johns Hopkins and received his MBA from Harvard Business School.
