Dr. Feige is the Global Head of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning for Cerberus Technology Solutions, a subsidiary of Cerberus Capital Management focused exclusively on leveraging emerging technology, data, and advanced analytics to drive business transformations. Prior to joining Cerberus in 2022, Dr. Feige was an executive with Faculty, one of Europe’s leading Al companies, and most recently served as Director of Al. During his tenure, he founded the company’s Al research lab and subsequently built and led their impressive team of applied Al & ML practitioners. In this role, he spearheaded the expansion of Faculty’s Al platform and go-to-market strategy. Before Faculty, Ilya helped McKinsey & Company scale their analytics capability across the West Coast of the US.
Ilya brings together a potent combination of research-frontier Al expertise with the ability to influence profound change within organizations through technology and has published papers in all of the top Al conferences, including a single-author paper in ICML and a breakthrough Al Explainability paper published in NeurIPS.
Additionally, llya led the data and modelling effort behind the UK National Health Service’s (NHS) Covid response. He and team built a state-of-the-art operational intelligence platform for the NHS from, which critical hospital resources were managed across the country in real time, saving 1,000s of lives. Similarly, at the height of the terrorism threat posed by Islamic State, llya and team were called upon by the UK’s Home Office to develop software to automatically screen and remove radicalizing propaganda from video hosting platforms online.
Dr. Feige received his undergraduate degree with the highest honors from McGill University and his Ph.D. in Theoretical Physics from Harvard University, where he was awarded the Goldhaber Prize as the top Ph.D. student in physics.
