Glen de Vries was co-founder and co-CEO of the life sciences software provider Medidata, which was acquired by Dassault Systèmes in July 2021, with Glen most recently serving as Life Sciences & Healthcare vice-chair for the new parent company. Glen co-authored the 2020 book The Patient Equation: The Precision Medicine Revolution in the Age of COVID-19 and Beyond about the use of data in the future of medicine. Glen supported the Castleman Disease Collaborative Network extensively and discussed the importance of creating Every Cure with Dr. Fajgenbaum prior to Glen’s passing in November 2021.
