This Privacy Policy describes Every Cure’s privacy practices with regard to information Every Cure collects about you when you interact with www.everycure.org and any related sites operated by Every Cure that post a link to this Privacy Policy (collectively, the “Sites”), including, but not limited to, by responding to a survey, making a donation, or becoming a member of the online community
Every Cure is committed to ensuring that your privacy is protected. Should we ask you to provide certain identifying information, it will only be used in accordance with this privacy statement.
We will not sell, distribute, or lease your personal information to third parties unless we have your permission or are required by law to do so. We may use your personal information to send you information that we think may be of interest to you with your consent. Every Cure may change this policy by updating this page. II. Personal Information We Collect
1. Actively Collected Information
The Sites offers users the ability to learn about Every Cure and to contribute to Every Cure research and other supportive causes. While you do not have to give us any personal information to browse this Sites, you may be asked to provide personal information if you wish to interact with us (e.g., by signing up to receive email updates, filling out a form, sending us an email, requesting information, responding to our requests, applying for a job, or making a donation). This information may include your full name, e-mail address, postal address, other demographic information, location, photographs, videos, and any other information or media you voluntarily provide. Once you provide us with personal information about you, you are no longer anonymous to us.
Online donations to Every Cure through the Sites are processed using PayPal, and you may be required to provide the following personal information about you: full name, billing address, e-mail address, telephone number, credit/debit card number, credit/debit card expiration date, credit/debit card CVV number, credit/debit card type (Visa, MasterCard, Discover, or American Express), and such other financial information necessary to process your payments. You may also be asked to indicate whether your employer will match your donation and whether your current estate plan provides for Every Cure. Every Cure will only see and retain the full name and amount of the donation, and such information will be handled pursuant to the terms of this policy.
2. Passively Collected Information
We may collect certain information about your use of the Sites through the use of tracking technologies or by other passive means. We may use Google Analytics to help us collect and analyze this information. This “passively collected” information includes, but is not limited to, the domain name of the website that allowed you to navigate to the Sites, search engines used, the internet protocol (IP) address used, the length of time spent on the Sites, the pages you looked at on the Sites, other websites you visited before and after visiting or accessing the Sites, the type of internet browser you have, the frequency of your visits to the Sites, and other relevant statistics, including the following:
- Log Information. When you access the Sites, our servers automatically record information that your browser sends whenever you visit a website. - Auditing, research, and analysis to maintain, protect, and improve our service offerings, to enhance the Sites, to identify usage trends, or to determine the effectiveness of our fundraising campaigns and/or individual fundraising campaigns;

- Developing new services; or
- Compiling personal information and other information collected through the Sites on an aggregate basis.
2. Personal Information We Share
We do not sell, rent, trade, or otherwise share personal information collected through the Sites, except as described below:
- Subsidiaries and Affiliates. We may share personal information with our subsidiaries and affiliates for the purposes for which you provided the information or as reasonably necessary for our internal administrative and business purposes.
- Service Providers. We work with third parties that provide services on our behalf. Such services may include website hosting, marketing, data analysis, infrastructure provision, IT services, customer service, email delivery services, and website usage analytics. We may share personal information with these third parties for the purpose of enabling them to provide these services.

- We may share personal information in accordance with any consent you provide.
- Donor Lists. If you make a donation through the Sites, we may include your name in our list of donors on the Sites, unless you request that the donation be anonymous.
- Required by Law. We may disclose personal information if we are required to do so by law or pursuant to legal process, in response to a request from government officials or law enforcement authorities, or as necessary or appropriate in connection with an investigation of illegal activity.
- Certain Transactions. V. Information Storage and Security
We employ reasonable security precautions to protect personal information about you. The Sites are operated from a secure environment with integrated security measures to help protect against the loss, misuse, and alteration of personal information provided through the Sites. These security measures include Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology data transmission. However, no method of transmitting or storing data is completely secure. VI. Information Retention
Every Cure retains Personal Information that we receive for as long as necessary to fulfill the purpose(s) for which the information was collected, to provide our services and products, to pursue legitimate business purposes, to enforce our agreements, and comply with all applicable laws. Subject to the above, we will typically store data relating to donors and supporters for seven (7) years after their last donation or interaction with us unless you request that such information be deleted and such removal does not violate Every Cure’s legal or regulatory obligations.
VII. A Special Note about Children
The Sites is neither designed nor intended to attract children under the age of 18, and we do not collect personal information from any individual who we actually know is under the age of 18. We ask that children under the age of 18 not submit any personal information to us. Personal Information on children under 16 will only be knowingly collected with the consent of their parent or guardian.
VIII. External Links
The Sites contains links to various websites that Every Cure does not control. When you click on one of these links, you will no longer be transacting business through the Sites. Third party websites maintain their own privacy policies, and we do not exercise any control over any of the third party websites that may be linked to the Sites. If you visit a website that is linked to the Sites, you should consult that website’s privacy policy before providing any personal information. IX. Special Admonitions for International Use
The owner of the Sites is based in the State of Pennsylvania in the United States. Access to the Sites may not be legal by certain persons or in certain countries. If you access the Sites from outside the United States, you do so on your own initiative and are responsible for compliance with local laws.
