Dear Every Cure community,
As we move into the fall, I’ve been thinking a lot about what it really takes to turn the promise of drug repurposing into impact for patients. Identifying a promising new use for an existing medicine is an incredibly important first step, but it’s only the beginning. At Every Cure, our goal is to see these opportunities all the way through — from identifying and evaluating them to building the evidence and working alongside patients, advocacy organizations, clinicians, and researchers to help treatments reach the people who need them.
This month, we’re sharing a few examples of what that looks like in practice. During Histiocytosis Awareness Month, we worked alongside the Histiocytosis Association to raise awareness of an important treatment option for Rosai-Dorfman disease and help more clinicians and patients learn about the updated NCCN guidelines. We also joined ARPA-H at Health250 to share the latest progress on our AI platform and how we’re working to turn promising discoveries into real-world impact.
None of this work happens alone. I’m incredibly grateful to the patients, clinicians, researchers, partners, and supporters who believe in this mission and help us move it forward every day. There’s so much more ahead, and I’m excited to keep building it together.
