Sophia DeLuca, PhD is a Medical Research Fellow with expertise in drug repurposing, gene therapy, and high-throughput screening, spanning in vitro discovery through large-animal preclinical research. She is a Medical Research Fellow at Every Cure, where she leads preclinical and clinical research programs for repurposing therapies addressing high–unmet-need conditions. Previously, she trained at Duke University in cardiac and skeletal muscle tissue engineering and regenerative gene therapies and worked in industry developing disease modeling platforms for rare cardiac diseases.
