Piotr acquired a BSc Hons in Medicinal Chemistry from the University of St Andrews. During his studies, he developed a strong interest in computational biology and data science, which led him to conduct his honors research at the intersection of bioinformatics and biochemistry. After that, he joined AstraZeneca in Gothenburg, Sweden, where he worked primarily in the Respiratory and Immunology therapeutic area as part of various bioinformatics, data science, and machine learning teams. He contributed to and accelerated projects in the fields of omics, clinical data science, and medical imaging.
